Week two: Friendship with Christ – Adriel Booker

Last week we had an incredible week with our very own Adriel Booker talking to us about Friendship with God.  It was an incredible week seeing God move, and then the week was topped off with welcoming the YWAM Australia medical ship back from Papua New Guinea 🙂

We studied Abraham and Moses who were the only two people in The Bible to be called friends of God, studying their stories and characteristics. We also looked at what fearing the Lord means, why we want to have the fear of the Lord and a big topic that we covered was fear of Man and how it stops us walking in the fear of the Lord.

So it was incredible week of great breakthrough, knowing more of God’s heart within the commandments, knowing what He loves and hates and seeing us all grow in our Friendship with Christ.

Then on Friday we welcomed the Medical Ship back from its time in Papua New Guinea after 26 days offering free medical services to those in the Gulf Province of Papua New Guinea. Watch the latest video recap from the tour.

    Discipleship Bible School

    During the course, you will have an opportunity to dig deep into the Bible, reading through all 66 books, gaining an overall perspective of God’s story. You will learn techniques for effective Bible study, and your speakers will help unlock the Bible’s fascinating content.
