ZOLL Medical Corporation Donates AED!

ZOLL Medical Corporation, a company with a history of expertise in resuscitation, recently donated an AED – automated external defibrillator – to the YWAM Medical Ships – Australia (YWAM MSA).  After reviewing the organisation’s website, ZOLL was inspired by the work YWAM MSA provides the people of Papua New Guinea (PNG). Motivated by the opportunity to improve survival rates from most forms of heart attack, they generously donated the AED.  The YWAM Medical Ship operates in some of PNG’s most remote villages and geographically isolated from medical centres.  The AED is compact, transportable, and requires minimal training making it ideal for the ship.  YWAM MSA is grateful for this life saving contribution!
