The Ship DTS Central Provence team is at the end of its first week of outreach on board the YWAM Medical Ship in the Gulf Provence. This week they have visited 6 villages – Ero, Wowo, Kikori, Babaguina, Veiru and Irimuku. They have been able to help in the various clinics on board and in the villages as well as help with health education, sharing their testimonies and presenting dramas. The team has had a great week and look forward to spending some time in the villages connecting with the communities over the weekend before clinics start again on Monday.
“This first week I worked in the optometry team and we got to pray for the patients. One guy was very thankful when I offered to pray for him and he even started to cry. It made me realize that such a small thing can make a difference in their life. God chose me to be a witness of His love and be his hands and feet!” Sven Rothen – Switzerland
