Alphapharm Donates Medicine

Alphapharm Pty Limited, a Mylan Company, approached YWAM Medical Ships – Australia (YWAM MSA) to find out the medicinal needs for the people of Papua New Guinea.  The contact with Alphapharm employee, Glenda Arendse, has helped strengthen the ship’s resources to provide treatment, as well as, the growing relationship between Australia and PNG’s National Department of Health (NDoH).  It enables a wider range of needs to be met and more supplies available to areas further from medical centres. Through this process, they donated an estimated $13,000 worth medicine, including: pain medications for back and knee problems, antibiotics for infections, anti-malarial medicine, and heart burn relief.  YWAM MSA is thankful for the generous contribution.
