Media & Radio DTS
10802NAT – Certificate III in Discipleship
The Media and Radio DTS calls for those who are passionate about using photography, videography, radio broadcasting, and writing to share stories that inspire hope and change!
We train you in basic media and storytelling skills, before we send you on outreach to capture on the ground stories in communities in Australia or Papua New Guinea. It’s an amazing DTS for those that have experience in the media field, as well as for those that are keen to learn.
You will also have the opportunity to work with our media hub right on campus, including our radio station that broadcasts to over 26,000 listeners every month!

“Choosing the Media & Radio DTS in Townsville was a really significant milestone in my life. It helped me build a firm foundation as a disciple of Christ and also equipped me with some practical skills in developing relationships and networks through media.”
“The Media & Radio DTS offered a strategic balance between my passions of working in media and growing in my relationship with God. There were so many practical ways I was able to use media to serve others as well as many opportunities to push myself in other areas such as public speaking, leading worship, organizing programs, and learning to be flexible. Doing a media DTS showed me that missions doesn’t always look a certain way, but every skill and passion is both useful and needed on the mission field.”
