Dental Trailer
YWAM MS acquired a near-new dental semi-trailer at the end of 2019 with the vision to bring the trailer into Port Moresby for the purpose of providing dental services, training opportunities, and health education to primary and secondary schools in the National Capital District.
With a growing population and over 100 primary and secondary schools in Port Moresby, this multi-use, mobile facility strengthens existing services and provides an ideal learning environment in which local healthcare professionals and students can develop their skills while responding to the needs in the district.
The trailer’s visits to schools are matched with interactive and motivational school programs that are centred upon helping students feel valued and empowered to contribute to the health of their nation.
We are looking for dentists, dental therapists, dental assistants, sterilisation technicians, and general volunteers to join us as we take the dental trailer to schools in Port Moresby. See outreach dates below. (Note: dates are subject to change.)
