What makes us unique

We provide hands-on experience to students who are needing work experience in the hospitality industry. In addition to training students in basic food and beverage service, work experience also focuses on building good character and soft skills needed to be employable, while also giving students the opportunity to give back to the community in a meaningful way.

YWAM Townsville is a non-profit registered training organisation (Reg No. 30614) that has been serving in Townsville for over 34 years with approximately 110 full time volunteer staff and students serving in North Queensland and Papua New Guinea. YWAM’s volunteer network invested over 1.2 million volunteer hours from 2012–2016 in the community.
