From 19 April to 4 July 2020, we are calling on tradesmen and general volunteers to give us a hand as we build new apartments for our full-time volunteer staff at the YWAM Townsville City Campus and complete other smaller projects around our centre and at the newly acquired Youth Precinct.
The Townsville City Campus serves as a resource campus for the YWAM Training and Medical Ship, community radio station 99.9 Live FM, youth work, and registered training. The campus also serves as the home-base for our full-time volunteer staff and students who serve in Australia and Papua New Guinea. During the last 12 months alone, our volunteers donated time and labour estimated at over 8.4 million AUD!
Help Us Grow
Over the last few years our operations in Australia and Papua New Guinea have grown significantly. To support the growth, more full-time volunteer staff have joined us and many more are still needed.
The new apartments will increase our capacity to accommodate more workers, enabling us to serve more people.
