Mission Building is a volunteer program that gives you the opportunity to experience life on a YWAM Campus all while supporting our work in Australia and Papua New Guinea.
Mission Building is a flexible program that enables you to choose the dates you want to come – from two weeks to three months, all year round!
Volunteering aboard the YWAM Training and Medical Ship, MV YWAM PNG, is an adventure-filled experience where you will have the opportunity to work alongside Papua New Guinea’s local health workers and other like-minded people from around the globe around a shared vision: healthy villages and a healthy Papua New Guinea.
A YWAM DTS is an adventurous five and a half month program that is designed to empower you to serve others all while growing in your faith and character.
The program includes 13 weeks of training at our campus in Townsville, before we take you on nine weeks of outreach in Australia and/or Papua New Guinea.
Take 12 months to grow in your faith, gain some new skills, and serve the world around you!
We have two gap year programs on offer, our Global Health Gap Year and our Communications and Media Gap Year.

Youth Adventures is a 10-day program designed to engage teens in service and volunteerism. The program starts at our training campus in Townsville where participants undergo four days of hands-on training before we take you on outreach in communities in North Queensland or Papua New Guinea.
