10802NAT – Certificate III in Discipleship
In additional to the transformational discipleship you will receive during the training phase of your DTS, you will also have two hours per week dedicated toward training you in basic community development principles and skills. This could include water and sanitation, health education, discipleship and relationship building, and community activation and participation.
For outreach, you will be jetting off to Papua New Guinea and communities in Australia to put your knowledge and skills into practice.
If the thought of learning a new culture, cooking your meal over a fire, bathing in a river, and sleeping on the ground under a mosquito net makes your heart come alive, the Trailblazer DTS is waiting for you to join them on their next adventure!

Course fee: $6,490AUD*
Outreach travel expenses: $1,000 – $1,800AUD
Your course fee includes 13 weeks of missions training and 9 weeks of outreach. The training includes all of your meals, accommodation, wifi, laundry facilities, airport transfers, an Australian wildlife experience (meet a koala and feed kangaroos!) and use of our campus facilities including library, lecture rooms, computers, chapel, courtyard and cafe – right in the heart of the city, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. Your outreach includes all of your meals, accommodation, outreach shirt, visa (if required) and field supplies.
Your outreach travel expenses will cover variable costs such as flights, ferries, busses, etc.
*Does not include travel costs to and from Townsville, visa, health insurance and immunisations.
