A Certificate III in Business Administration (BSB30415) is a great introduction to the business world. Your learning will give you a broad set of skills including financial administration, document production, workplace organisation, and customer service. The course is designed to prepare you for entering the workplace in a range of administrative roles including a receptionist, payroll officer, personal assistant, customer service roles, and other office roles.
The course includes a combination of online study and volunteer work experience at the YWAM Townsville City Campus, allowing you to gain real ‘on the job’ experience within the context of charitable service.
High School Students
Year 11 and 12 students can undertake this course while in school. These cohorts run over 18 months, with online study at your own pace and one day per week of volunteer work experience at the YWAM Townsville City Campus.
High School Graduates
Students who have finished school can also complete the course over one year. These cohorts are full time (20 hours per week) with a combination of online training and volunteering at the YWAM Townsville City Campus.
YWAM MS Staff
This course is also available to YWAM MS staff who wish to enhance their skills and knowledge while on the job.

This training is approved for Austudy/ABSTUDY. Students on this must study full time (i.e.. one year for 20 hours/week – including their in-office vocational hours) in addition to meeting all other Centrelink eligibility requirements.
