Our Story

Our story is one of passion, purpose, grit and determination, moments that turn into millions of miracles, the significance of each and every person in every stage in the journey over years saying yes, and the power of people coming together with a common vision.

It started with one little team all living together in one house. Mowing lawns and cleaning houses and pooling our money to be able to do outreach.

YWAM in Townsville, by all comparison a small country town in Queensland Australia with the vision of finding the gold in young people in regional North Queensland, and beyond and calling them to a life of mission to all the nations. Making YWAM mobile, reaching isolated people in isolated places.

Who would have ever thought all those years ago that that would lead to taking four wheel drives full of young people to remote outback communities to help and encourage. Or that we would take a medical ship to some of the hardest to reach places on planet earth bringing life saving hope and care.
